Indian equity markets ended higher on Monday. BSE Sensex climbed over 120 points closing 0.43% higher at 27,902,66 while NSE Nifty closed up 0.41% at 8,607.45.

Tata Motors was among top turnovers with its last traded price (LTP) at Rs 524.70 per share.

Companies that were the gainers were Delta Corp (8.2%), BalKrisind (6.59%), Central bank (6.47%), JK Tyre (6.08%) and Laximmach (6.07%).

Among the losers were Hexaware (5.04%), GVK Power (4.43%), Gati (3.41%), Gruh Finance (3.36%) and Persistent (3.32%).

The Sensex touched a high of 27,952.85 points and a low of 27,698.71 points during the intra-day trade, IANS reported.
