All indicators of Indian markets are closed today on account of 'Holo' festival in Mumbai. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Forex, Money Market, Bullion and other major commodity markets will also remain closed on account of "Holi". 
 
Sensex on March 2, finished at 34,046.94 down by 137.10 points or 0.40%, while Nifty ended at 10,458.35 below 34.50 points or 0.33%. 
The 31-scrip index and 51-scrip index tumbled, with maximum cuts coming in Nifty Auto and the Bank Nifty. Meanwhile, Midcap index plunged by 1% on Thursday. 
 
Among best performer on the BSE were companies like Coal India, IndusInd Bank, Hindustan Unilever, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra. While losers were ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Infosys, Adani Ports and Axis Bank. 
 
Gold prices on Thursday, also closed on negative note, with 24 karat gold of 10 gram finishing at Rs 32,694 and that of 100 gram at Rs 3,26,940. The 22 karat gold in 10 gram and 100 gram completed at Rs 29,970 and Rs 2,99,700 respectively. 
 
However, against dollar index, the Indian rupee was trading at 65.170-level up by 0.015 or 0.02%.
