Indian Bank PO Result 2018 prelims: The results have been declared for recruitment of probationary officers -admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance course offered at Manipal Global Education Services. Candidates can access their PO Prelims Results 2018 at Indian Bank's official website: indianbank.in. Notably, the online preliminary examination for posts of probationary officers was conducted on October 6, 2018. The shortlisted applicants can check their roll numbers and names for the Indian Bank PO online main examination from the official website. The online main examination will be held on November 4, 2018 for the recruitment of 417 PO vacancies.
 
Those who took the Indian Bank PO Prelims exams can follow the steps given below to check their results. 
 
1. Candidates should go to official website: indianbank.in
2. Candidates should click on the career link
3. Now click on the link "DETAILED ADVERTISMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS THROUGH ON BOARDING"
4. On the dropdown, open the "List of roll numbers of shortlisted candidates for main exam"
5. Candidates can check their roll number from the direct link:

The main examination will consist of objective tests of 200 marks and descriptive test for 50 marks. Both the tests are conducted through online process. The descriptive test is taken immediately after the objective test. 
 
The Objective Test, which is held within 2 hours, comprises 5 Sections for total 200 marks. The candidates expected to qualify in each of the tests by securing passing marks decided by the bank.
 
However, the descriptive test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks is to test of English Language (Letter Writing and Essay) skills of the candidates, who are expected to qualify this test with passing marks decided by the bank.
 
Notably, descriptive test paper of only those candidates are evaluated who scores qualifying marks in the objective tests. For each wrong answers in the objective test, one-fourth marks of that question is deducted. If a question is left blank, there will be no negative marking for that question.
