Indian Army recruitment 2019:  The Indian Army has issued a recruitment notification for Soldier general duty, soldier clerk and various other posts. The last date for submission of the application form is May 18, 2019. The applicants may apply in the prescribed format before the last date. The candidates must go through the official notification before applying for Soldier general duty, soldier clerk and various other posts to make sure that they fulfil all the eligibility criteria. Educational qualifications:
Soldier General Duty:
The candidates should pass matriculation with 45 percent marks in aggregate and at least 33 percent marks in each subject.

There is no stipulation of percentage required if the candidate posses higher qualification - 10+2 and above. However, 33 percent marks in each subject in class 10 is compulsory.

Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical:
The candidates should have secured 50 percent marks in each subject and 60  percent marks in aggregate in 10+2. They should have studied English and Maths/ Accounts/Book Keeping in class XII and should have secured min 50 percent marks in each of these subjects.

Indian Gorkhas and Tribals of Recognised Tribal Areas: The educational qualifications required are, as applicable for Soldier GD and Soldier Clerk/SKT. For further details, the applicants must visit the official website.

Age limit:
The candidates should be between 17 years - 6 months and 21 years (October 1, 1998, to April 1, 2002).
