India Post warns public against fraudulent URLs and websites claiming prizes
India Post is not involved in any such activities as announcing subsidies, bonuses, or prizes based on surveys among others, the government entity informed citizens.
India Post on Saturday warned people against fraudulent URLs (Uniform Resource Locators) and Websites claiming to provide subsidies/prizes through certain surveys and quizzes.
According to the official statement, “India Post over the recent days has been observing various URLs and Websites getting circulated in social media such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and through emails and SMS containing tiny URLs/Short URLs, claiming to be providing government Subsidies through certain surveys, quizzes.”
