At India Ka DNA 2019 Conclave of Zee Business today, agriculture expert Vijay Sardana said that in a country with population of 130 crore where 60 percent people reside in rural areas, we need to think of 80 crore people and their employment. GDP growth or growth in technology is futile if farmers are not happy, Sardana said on the issue of doubling farmers' income.

Another panelist RG Agarwal, Chairman of Dhanuka Agritech, said, "It is important to ensure that farmers get adequate water supply. Our dependence on monsoon can be reduced if we pay more attention on this front".  If a farmer gets Rs 25 for produce, but a customer pays Rs 100, it is an injustice to farmers, said Anil Singhvi, Managing Editor of Zee Business at the Conclave that is being held at Taj Hotel in Delhi.

In earlier session, panelist Anupam Shrivastava, Chairman and Managing Director of BSNL, said the state-run telecom company will launch 5G services in India by 2020. Shrivastava discussed on how to reap digital dividend.  He said "BSNL was the first to begin 3G in the country. As the world is gearing up for 5G, we are trying to begin 5G services in India also by 2020."

He also talked on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India drive, saying, "We need to focus on 'broadband for all' in the country as we move forward on digitisation path."
