IIT JAM 2020: IIT Kanpur will conduct IIT JAM 2020 on February 9, 2020. Candidates who wish to apply for IIT JAM 2020 can check the complete schedule for the examination. This exam is conducted for admission to the M.Sc programmes offered at the different IIT’s and IISC As per the official website ie. jam.iitk.ac.in, this year JAM will be conducted only for six subjects, the M.Sc Biological Sciences subject has been discontinued. The application process for IIT JAM 2020 will be released online on September 5, 2019.

Interested candidates are suggested to apply for the programme in a suggested format and upload all the necessary documents online until October 8, 2019, until 5.30 PM.

The admit cards will be available on January 07, 2020 and the JAM 2020 examination is on February 09, 2020. The website also notifies the results date which will be declared on March 20, 2020. Also, the submission of application form for admission on the JAM 2020 is on April 09 to 22, 2020. The last date request for change of category in the proper format or rectification of defective documents can be done till May 04, 2020.

IIT Kanpur will declare the first admission list on June 01, 2020, Second admission list on June 16, 2020 and Third and Final Admission List on June 29, 2020. The Admissions process will close by July 03, 2020. 

IIT JAM 2020 Examination Schedule 

Biotechnology (BT), Mathematical Statistics (MS), Physics (PH)  Session 1 will be conducted at 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA) Session 2 will be conducted at 2:30 PM to 5: 30 PM

Candidates who qualify IIT JAM 2019 as per the different admission lists provided will be granted admission to the M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, and  M.Sc.-M.Tech programs. 
The examination will be held in the Computer Based mode across the different designated centres for the admission.

IIT Kanpur will also provide the candidates with a Mock Test link in order to practice for the examination. Candidates will also be provided with sample question papers from the previous years for a better understanding of the examination pattern.
