IBPS PO Mains exam result: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released a notification in which they have released the result of Probationary Officer (PO) main examination. Candidates who have appeared for IBPS PO main examination can visit the official website of IBPS ie, ibps.in - to check and download the results. 
Candidates should note that the IBPS PO main examination results will be available online till January 8, 2020 on the webssite.

Selection Process:
The shortlisted candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for an Interview Round. The interview will be conducted by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS.

The centre, address of the venue, time and date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter. The call letter for the interview would be released on the official website of IBPS.

Steps to Download IBPS PO Main result:
Step 1: Visit IBPS official website i.e. www.ibps.in
Step 2: Enter your details such Registration No / Roll No and DOB and Captcha
Step 3: Click on Login
Step 4: Your IBPS PO Main result will display on the screen.
Steps 5: Download your IBPS PO Main result and take a print out for future use

IBPS has conducted the exam for the recruitment of 4336 Probationary Officers and Management Trainee Posts. Out of which the vacancy for Allahabad Bank is for 500 posts, Bank of India is 899, Bank of Maharashtra is 143, for Canara Bank 203 vacancies, for Corporation Bank is 62 vacancies, Indian Bank  201 vacancies, Oriental Bank of Commerce 122 vacancies, UCO Bank is 500 post and for Union Bank of India is for 644 posts.

Recently, IBPS has also released the IBPS RRB officer scale-1 results of Main exam which was conducted to fill officer scale-I vacancies in the Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). A total of 1,390 vacancies were to be filled through this recruitment exam. After selection as a scale-I officer in the Regional rural banks (RRBs), the candidates need to undergo a training period. On completion of this training the candidates are placed as assistant managers in the respective banks.
