With the ongoing heavy rain pouring on Mumbai, the city has slowed down in every way, causing inconvenience to passengers travelling on trains, roads or even flying. Today, in early hours, there were massive showers which forced railway authorities to cancel mega blocks and even some express trains. According to Skymet, in last 24 hours, from 8:30 am on Saturday, Santa Cruz observatory recorded massive three-digit rain to the tune of 131 mm. However, rain was on the moderate side for Colaba which recorded just about 33 mm of rainfall. The suburbs of the city also saw heavy rain wherein Thane recorded a whopping 163 mm of rain.
