However, there are exceptions and this is the amazing story of this pooch, that has become hot property indeed - perhaps more than any other dog in the country. Well, this dog looks ordinary, but people are willing to pay unimaginable sums of money for it. They are so besotted with the dog that they are ready to even pay Rs 2 crore for it. Notably, its named 'Mani'.  So, what is special about this money making machine? The reason is that this dog has played a role in Rajinikanth movie "Kaala". People from foreign countries too are expressing interest in buying this dog.

Mani, Rajinikanth's pet in the movie, is well-trained and shares great equation with the star. Even as the film Kaala released on June 7, the pet was very much in the limelight too. And no, the offer has not been accepted by the owner. Rajinikanth reportedly had rejected 30 dogs and finally agreed on Mani. Simon, the trainer of the dog, was given only a week to train the dog to shoot alongside Rajinikanth. The dog was also reportedly vaccinated to ensure the safety of the film crew. The 2.6 years old dog has been featured in two other films as well. The trainer said they are ready to offer Rs 2-3 crore after it featured in Kaala movie alongside Rajinikanth. The Tamil superstar's association with the pet has definitely transformed the life of this street dog.

As far as Kaala box office collection is concerned, in 3 days, Kaala has crossed Rs. 100 crore in gross revenue at the WW Box Office, film trade analyst Ramesh Bala said in a Twitter post.
"#Kaala - Ladies, Kids and Family audience are flocking to watch this family entertainer this weekend..Excellent Saturday yesterday at the Box office.. A Strong Sunday is expected today at the Box office all over..," Bala said.
