Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the country on the occasion of Hindi Diwas from his official Twitter handle. He tweeted, "Wishing you all a very Happy Hindi Diwas. People from different regions have played a remarkable role in making Hindi a capable and capable language. It is the result of all your efforts that Hindi is continuously making a strong identity on the global stage."

 

On the occasion of Hindi Diwas MyGovIndia tweeted from its official Twitter handle, "#MyGovMorningMusings Today, let us take inspiration from this statement of poet Sumitranandan Pant, the pioneer of modern Hindi, and take a pledge to make our contribution in promoting the use of Hindi, strengthening it."

 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also wished everyone on the occasion of Hindi Diwas from his official Twitter handle. The tweet said, "On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, I urge all the countrymen to take a pledge to progressively use official language Hindi along with their mother tongue in basic works. The progress of India is contained in the coordination of mother tongue and official language. Wishing you all a very Happy Hindi Divas."

 

Films Division has taken a new initiative to commemorate this Hindi Diwas. Films Division is organising an online film festival with special package of selected films dedicated to Rajbhasha Hindi and Hindi literature from September 14, 2021 to September 15, 2021.

Films Division tweeted about this from its official Twitter handle. The tweet said, "Special presentation by Film Division on the occasion of Hindi Diwas! Organizing a special package of selected films dedicated to Rajbhasha Hindi and Hindi literature, "Hindi: Bharat Ki Vani" online film festival. Log on to Films Division's website and YouTube channel from 14-15 September, 2021."

 

It must be noted that on this day, Hindi in Devanagari script was adopted as one of the official languages of India.
