Indian Railways' catering service provider (IRCTC) has once again come up with an exciting offer for passengers travelling to Kumbh Mela. This time, IRCTC has come with a tour package to holy places of Uttar Pradesh especially Prayagraj which is the heart of Kumbh Mela currently.  On its official Twitter account, IRCTC said, "Kumbh Mela at just Rs 945 per day! IRCTC offers a unique tour to the grand and spiritual gathering with an expedition to alluring Jagannatha Temple."

IRCTC Regional Office, Bhopal offers “Bharat Darshan” one of the most affordable all inclusive tour package, covering the important religious and leisure destinations by the Bharat Darshan special tourist train.

Hence, on the occasion of Ardh Kumbh Mela at Allahabad, IRCTC will now run a Kumbh Special train providing Puri-Gangasagar darshan. 

This train will cover destinations like Puri, Gangasagar, Varanasi and Allahabad.

The train involves second and 3AC class seats. It's boarding and deboarding points are -  Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Bairagarh(Sant Hirdaram Nagar Station), Saugor, Damoh and Katni. 

The special Kumbh Mela package involves 9 nights and 10 days journey to above mentioned holy places of Uttar Pradesh. 

Coming back to the price, a standard package of Rs 9,450 is given to per person - which makes Kumbh journey at just Rs 945 per day. There is also comfort package which is available at Rs 11,550. 

Earlier, Indian Railways had made new fares for trains travelling towards Kumbh Mela, offering tickets as cheap as Rs 5!

However, it is not just Uttar Pradesh residents who participate in this magnificent event, in fact, tourists and citizens from across the country travel there to enjoy this festival.
