Govt grants 200 patents to Ayurvedic products, processes
Out of this 22 patents have been granted to foreign entities for medicines or formulation related toayurvedic, herbal, plant based products and processes.
The Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) has granted 200 patents for medicines or formulations related to Ayurvedic, herbal, plant based products and processes.
Out of this 22 patents have been granted to foreign entities for medicines or formulation related toayurvedic, herbal, plant based products and processes.
Currently there are 270 applications that are under consideration of the CGPDTM, said Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State (MoS) for Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.
