Political leaders from various parties in Parliament gathered on Saturday for a crucial meeting to outline the agenda for the upcoming Winter session, set to commence on Monday.

The meeting, organized by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, saw the participation of prominent figures, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Gaurav Gogoi, and Pramod Tiwari, Trinamool leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay, NCP leader Fouzia Khan, and RSP leader N K Premachandran, among others.

The Winter session, scheduled from December 4 to December 22, is poised to address significant draft legislations, including the consideration of three bills aimed at replacing outdated colonial-era criminal laws.

Additionally, the session will witness the presentation of the Lok Sabha panel's report, recommending the expulsion of Trinamool leader Mahua Moitra from the lower house following a "cash-for-query" complaint. This report is slated for tabling in the House on Monday, marking the inaugural day of the session.
