Gauhati High Court has notified its recruitment for the positions of LDA/ Assistant Typist and Computer Typist for district courts. The total number of vacancies available are 6 to be filled in different positions. Interested candidates are to note that they are to send in the application forms before the last date of May 9 2019. The candidates would be selected on the basis of a written examination. Candidates are requested to visit the official website,, http://ghconline.gov.  to keep a tab on the recruitment processes.

Eligibility:

  • LDA/LD Assistant/Typist:  Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and should have working knowledge of computer.
  • Computer Typist : Candidate should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University and must have a diploma in MS Office from any govt. institute. The candidate should have official language of the State of Assam.

Age Limit:

For most of the positions, the minimum age is 18 years while the maximum age is 38 years. The limit relaxation on age for certain categories are:

i)SC/ST candidates: 5 years

ii) OBC candidates: 3 years

iii) Persons with disability: 10 years (PWD+OBC= 13 years; PWD+SC/ST= 15 years)

The candidates need to keep a check on the official website. They are requested to fill in the forms correctly and accurately. On the date specified for payment of fees, the candidates are requested to pay it in due time.

Post the written examination of 120 marks, the candidates selected will undergo a round of viva voce. Candidates should not that there is no negative marking in the common written examination.
