Game Over box office collection: Taapsee Pannu has maintained an impressive CV that features films like Pink, Badla and Mulk. The actress has proved in the past that she can pull audience to the theatres. But, that isn't the case with her latest release Game Over which hit theatres on Friday. The film has started disastrously at the box office and several shows are getting cancelled due to no viewers, confirmed film trade analyst, critic and influencer Sumit Kadel in a tweet. Kadel added that with this response, the film is unlikely to collect even Rs 50 lakh.

Film will struggle to collect even ₹ 50 lakhs today," he tweeted on Friday morning. Game Over is facing tough competition at the box office from two big films - Chris Hemsworth starrer Men in Black which hit the big screens on the same day and Salman Khan's Bharat which is going strong even in its second week. 

Bharat continued its dominance even on Thursday as it managed to rake in Rs 5.50 crore, taking its overall collection to whopping Rs 178 crore. The collections are expected to pick up over the weekend and the film should cross Rs 200 crore mark over the weekend. "#Bharat is steady on a lower side on its weekdays. Film collected ₹ 5.50 cr nett approx on Thursday taking its total to ₹ 178 cr nett. ₹ 22 cr weekend-2 will take it past to ₹ 200 cr mark. Film has done a good business considering mixed word of mouth," Kadel tweeted.

The Ali Abbas Zafar directed Bharat film that also stars Katrina Kaif and Sunil Grover in important roles, has become the ninth all-time highest opening week grosser surpassing Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that occupied the tenth spot on the list with a collections of Rs 172.82 cr. The only films to earn more than Bharat in week 1 are - Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that collected Rs 247 cr, Sultan that collected Rs 229.16 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs 206.04 cr, Sanju that collected Rs 202.51 cr, Dangal that collected Rs 197.54 cr, Dhoom 3 that collected Rs 188.99 cr, Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs 184.62 cr, and PK that collected R. 183.09 cr.
