G20 Summit New Delhi 2023 : Theme

As per the official G20 website, the theme for the 18th G20 Summit is "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," a Sanskrit phrase that translates to "One Earth, One Family, One Future". The phrase finds its roots in the ancient Sanskrit literature, specifically the Maha Upanishad. The theme mainly affirms the value of all life including human, plant, and microorganisms, and their interconnectedness on the planet Earth and in the wider universe.

Apart from that, the theme also highlights the concept of LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), advocating for environmentally sustainable and responsible choices, both at the level of individual lifestyles as well as national development.
