Two years after getting Coastal Regulation Zone clearance from Union Ministry of Environment and Forest, Bandra-Versova sea link will be a reality soon.

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation, on Monday, said that they will issue new tenders by September, Zee Business reports

MSRDC has asked companies for bidding through Global tenders. Till September 15, the companies will be allowed to submit the bids. 

Bandra-Versova sea link will cover a distance of 10 km. 

The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 7500 crore. Presently, it takes 40-45 minutes to cover distance from Bandra to Versova. But, after the BVSL it is expected to take just 10-15 minutes, the report said.

Like Bandra-Worli sea link, this link road will also have toll booths.
