Citing sources, Zee Business correspondent Sameer Dixit said that this good news is likely to come from aviation ministry. “In a review meeting of civil aviation ministry, it was decided that from January 2021, all domestic airline companies will be allowed to operate with their 100 per cent capacity. This will allow all airlines to use 100 percent of their network capacity,” he said.
Domestic airlines such as IndiGo, SpiceJet, GoAir and Vistara Airlines will benefit from this positive news for the Civil aviation sector.

Market Guru Anil Singhvi said that SpiceJet and IndiGo are likely to benefit the maximum and the former's share price has already gained almost 5 per cent in today’s trading session.

There are two major reasons that prompted the Ministry of Civil Aviation to grant 100 percent operational capacity to these airline companies, he said. “One important reason is the ministry is expecting that a Covid 19 vaccine would be made available before January. And second is that people are now mustering courage to undertake air travel and also the government has already given permission to these airline companies to operate on 80 per cent network capacity, “ he added.
