Dream Girl box office collection day 4: In times when a film's success is largely decided during the opening weekend, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl looks set to make it big even on the weekdays. The film which released to positive reviews and word of mouth, had collected Rs 10.05 crore on Friday, becoming the actor's biggest opener till date in the process. It improved the collections on Saturday and Sunday and, while most films would have witnessed a major decline on Monday, Dream Girl cemented its status.

According to movie critic, business analyst and influencer Taran Adarsh, Dream Girl is already a bona fide success. The film made Rs 7.43 crore on Monday despite lower tickey rates and competition from other films like Chhichhore and Article 375. "DreamGirl consolidates and cements its status... Is a bonafide success, with Day 4 [working day] showing negligible decline [despite *lower ticket rates* on weekdays]... Fri 10.05 cr, Sat 16.42 cr, Sun 18.10 cr, Mon 7.43 cr. Total: ₹ 52 cr. #India biz," Adarsh tweeted.

Apart from Ayushmann Khurrana, Dream Girl also stars an impressive star cast that includes Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma and Manjot Singh among others.

Meanwhile, Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore is also refusing to leave its shine and continues to make good money at the box office in its second week. On Monday, the film earned Rs 4.02 crore, taking its overall collection to Rs 98.08 crore. On Tuesday, the film should definitely go past the Rs 100 crore mark and looks in no mood to slow down anytime soon.
