Dream Girl box office collection day 2: There is no stopping Ayuhsmann Khurrana! The actor's latest release Dream Girl is on fire at the box office and can already be called a Super Hit within two days of its release. The film had emerged as the biggest opener for Ayushmann Khurrana by raking in Rs 10.05 crore on Friday and has witnessed superb growth on the second day. On Saturday, Dream Girl earned a whopping Rs 16.42 crore, taking its overall collection to Rs 26.47 crore. And at this pace, the film should improve further on Sunday.

Movie critic, business analyst and influencer Taran Adarsh said that the business is better in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. ""DreamGirl witnesses superb growth on Day 2 [63.38%]... Meanwhile, Film trade analyst, critic and influencer Sumit Kadel tweeted that by the end of Sunday, the film's collection could be somewhere around Rs 45 crore, making it a super hit. "#DreamGirl is heading towards ₹ 45 cr weekend-1 . Already a SUPER HIT," he tweeted. 

Dream Girl released on around 2600 screens in India and is doing well despite facing competition from Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore, which continues to remain steady in its second week. Chhichhore's overall collection stands at around Rs 84 crore. It stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Prateik Babbar, Tushar Pandey and Naveen Polishetty. This is expected to be Sushant’s second biggest hit after M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Dream Girl also clashed with Richa Chadha and Akshaye Khanna’s Article 375 which had opened at Rs 1.45 crore.
