DRDO Recruitment 2018: The Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited application from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Senior Technical Assistant B. In the DRDO notification, the number of vacant positions are stated to be 494. Application fees: Unreserved candidates have to pay Rs 100, but it is free for women, SC, ST and PWD candidates. 
 
Age Limit: Candidates should have minimum age of 18 and their maximum age should not exceed 28 years.
 
Educational criteria: Candidates must have a BSc Degree and three years diploma in Engineering or Computer Science or allied subjects in required disciplines.
 
Selection process: Exams will be held in two tiers, but of qualifying type. Tier-I will be of 150 marks containing 150 questions on Quantitative ability/aptitude, General intelligence & Reasoning ability, General awareness, English language (basic knowledge), General science. 
 
The Tier-II examination for Provisional selection will be a subject-specific test, containing 100 questions of 100 marks.
 
Candidates willing to apply for more than one post are allowed to do so, but they have to apply for the different posts separately. The exams, however, might be scheduled on the same date at different centres or even at the same timing.
 
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), which headquartered in New Delhi, is an agency responsible for the development of technology for use by the country's armed forces. It was established in 1958 by merging the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production with the Defence Science Organisation.
