Diesel price in India today: Despite international crude oil prices witnessing uptick on Wednesday, the state-owned oil companies decided to keep diesel rates unchanged in various state capitals of India just like petrol prices. Meanwhile, the global crude oil prices rose as support from the possibility of supply disruptions and a strong equities market offset the effects of profit-taking following last week`s rally above three-year highs.

Diesel price in New Delhi: Diesel price in the national capital was available at Rs 65.18 same previous day prices. 

Diesel price in Kolkata: However, diesel in this city was available at Rs 67.88 per litre.

Diesel price in Mumbai: Also diesel was unchanged valued at Rs 69.41 per litre same versus previous day price.

Diesel price in Chennai: The product in this city saw the biggest hike over the last few days. The product is trading near Rs 69-per litre mark - an all time high. However today, the price of this product stood at Rs 68.76 per litre same as in previous day.

Diesel prices in other state capitals: The product in Bangalore was available at Rs 66.28 per litre, Bhopal at Rs 68.59 per litre, Bhubaneswar at Rs 69.94 per litre, Chandigarh at Rs  63.28 per litre, Dehradun at Rs  65.48 per litre, Gandhinagar at Rs 70.00 per litre, Hyderabad at Rs  70.82 per litre, Jaipur at Rs  69.50 per litre, Lucknow at Rs 65.32 per litre, Patna at Rs 69.81 per litre, Raipur at Rs 70.39 per litre and Srinagar at Rs 68.49 per litre. 

Moreover, Brent crude oil futures gained 16 cents to settle at $71.58 a barrel, while U.S. crude futures rose 30 cents to settle at $66.52. Brent has risen 1.8 percent so far this month. It hit a peak last week of $73.09, the highest since late 2014.
