Diesel price in India today: Like petrol prices, the state-owned Oil Companies today decided to cut the prices of diesel between 3 paisa to 4 paisa per litre each in various state capitals of India. Chennai saw the most cut in their diesel prices. The diesel prices reached to an all-time high in the country on the back of higher international crude oil. On Monday, international oil markets stabilised after slumping around 2% last Friday on concerns over an intensifying trade dispute between the United States and China, as well as increased U.S. drilling activity.
 
Diesel price in New Delhi: Diesel price in the national capital was available at Rs 64.93 per litre - down by 3 paisa compared to their previous day prices of Rs 64.96 per litre. 
 

 
Diesel price in Kolkata: Similarly, diesel was trim down by 3 paisa in this city, and was available here at Rs 67.62 per litre as against Rs 67.65 per litre of the previous day. 
 

 
Diesel price in Mumbai: Diesel here was valued at Rs 69.14 per litre - below 3 paisa versus previous day price of Rs 69.17 per litre. Diesel in this city has been very expensive. 
 

 
Diesel price in Chennai: Unlike above mentioned cities, Chennai saw most reduction in their diesel prices, as it stood at Rs 68.49 per litre - lower by 4 paisa in comparison with previous day prices of Rs 68.53 per litre. 
 

 
Diesel prices in other state capitals: The product in Bangalore was available at Rs 66.03 per litre, Bhopal at Rs 68.32 per litre, Bhubaneswar at Rs 69.66 per litre, Chandigarh at Rs 63.03 per litre, Dehradun at Rs 65.27 per litre, Gandhinagar at Rs 69.73 per litre, Hyderabad at Rs 70.54 per litre, Jaipur at Rs  69.23 per litre, Lucknow at Rs 65.11 per litre, Patna at Rs 69.55 per litre, Raipur at Rs 70.13 per litre and Srinagar at Rs 68.25 per litre.
