Dhadak box office collection: Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor movie has made a mark on Bollywood as it has earned the distinction of entering into the top-10 biggest first week grossers for debutants, collecting Rs 51.56 crore. The film has kept its standing strong right through the week after scoring opening day record as well as weekend for a newcomer flick.

It is interesting to note that the Karan Johar film is following exactly the same graph as his earlier movie, Student of the Year. The Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra starrer had surprised critics registering an opening weekend of Rs 30 crore, and then went on to earn Rs 48 crore in the first week, according to Bollywood Hungama.

Similarly, Dhadak has also scored a weekend collection Rs 33.67 crore and has also maintained the same pace to bring on Rs 51.56 crore mark. It would be quite interesting to see where the film’s lifetime collection goes  since Karan Johar's Student of the Year had ended its run at Rs 70 crore. The same performance is expected from Dhadak as well.

Officially, the film has scored the biggest ever Week One when it comes to a debutant flick. See how this Shashank Khaitan directorial compares to the others in the Top-10 list:
