Heavy to very rains are expected in Delhi and other parts of the country in the coming week, starting Monday. According to the weatherman, on Monday; heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Jharkhand, Gujarat region, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

On Tuesday, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and Konkan and Goa.

On Sunday (today), IMD forecast had said that Delhi,  Haryana, Chandigarh and Madhya Pradesh were likely to receive heavy rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunda that the minimum and maximum temperatures in the national capital will hover around 27 degree Celsius and 37 degree Celsius, respectively, with the skies remaining cloudy.
