Delhi Metro on Independence Day: The facilities of parking will not be available from 6 AM on Sunday till 2 PM on August 15, 2022, DMRC informed. However, the Metro train services will continue to run, DMRC tweeted.
Delhi Metro on Independence Day: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation announced that the Metro train services will continue to run on Independence Day 2022. However, parking facilities will not be available at its stations in view of the security measures adopted on the occasion of Independence Day.
The facilities of parking will not be available from 6 AM on Sunday till 2 PM on August 15, 2022, DMRC informed.
"Parking facilities will not be available at Delhi Metro stations from 6:00 AM on 14th August, 2022 till 2:00 PM on 15th August, 2022 in view of the security measures adopted on the occasion of Independence Day," DMRC tweeted.
"However, the Metro train services will continue to run," DMRC tweeted further.
At present, DMRC is handling operations and maintenance of the over 390 km network, comprising 286 metro stations, including Rapid Metro in Gurugram and Aqua Line in Greater Noida, and is ranked amongst one of the world's largest metro networks.
