Delhi MCD Election 2022 news: BJP releases manifesto for MCD polls: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi chief Adesh Gupta and the party MP Manoj Tiwari on November 10 (Thursday) released the party's manifesto for the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections.

Earlier on Wednesday, BJP national president JP Nadda chaired a Delhi BJP core group meeting at his residence in the national capital over the elections.

Here are 10 things about the BJP manifesto for Delhi MCD Election 2022 

1. Give pucca houses to all slums dwellers: Delhi BJP released its 'Vachan Patra' or commitment letter promising houses for slum dwellers under the "Jahan Jhuggi wahan Makaan Scheme".

2. Last month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 3,024 newly constructed Economically Weaker Section (EWS) flats in the national capital as part of an In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation (ISSR) project and handed over their keys to slum dwellers at Bhoomiheen camp.

3. The BJP had also arranged tours for slum dwellers from different parts of the city to see the flats at Kalkaji for economically weaker section (EWS) category.

4. The 3024 flats were built by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under its in-situ slum rehabilitation project. 

5. Delhi BJP 'Vachan Patra'  also promised to ensures proper disposal of garbage in the capital. Garbage disposal has been one of the key issues in the national capital ahead of the civic body polls.

8. The BJP will distribute the 'Wachan Patra' to people living in the slums.

9. The 'Wachan Patra' has a form which they will fill and the BJP workers will submit them to the departments concerned and the slum dwellers will get houses.

10. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal will also launch the party’s 10 guarantees for MCD polls

Delhi MCD Election 2022 Election Date, Results 

Polling for the municipal elections in Delhi will be held on December 4 and votes will be counted on December 7.
