Delhi Judicial Service Examination 2018: The Delhi High Court has been inviting online applications for filling up the 50 vacancies in Delhi Judicial Service by conducting the Delhi Judicial Service Examination 2018. Interested candidates should submit their online application on the Delhi HC’s official website: delhihighcourt.nic.in.

The exam will be held in two different stages:

First, the Delhi Judicial Service Preliminary Examination which would be an objective type with 25% negative marking for the selection for the main examination. And second, the Delhi Judicial Service Main Examination, which would be a written exams. After which the candidates will be called for Viva-voce. 

According to an advertisement issued by the delhihighcourt.nic.in, the Delhi HC will hold examination for the Delhi Judicial Services which will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019. The eligible candidates can apply through the online application forms.

The pay scale for the selected members of the service will be between Rs 56,100 and Rs 1,77,500 in the 10th level of the matrix. A candidate will be considered as eligible to appear in the examination if he/she is: 

- A citizen of India. 

- A person practicing as an Advocate in India or a person qualified to be admitted as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961. 

- The candidate should not be more than 32 years in the age as on the 1st day of January following the date of commencement of the examination, i.e. 1st January 2019. 

The candidates should submit their online applications only in the prescribed format through the delhihighcourt.nic.in. The schedule of dates for the examination is as follows:

The online filing of application forms started on November 22, 2018, at 10:00 am. 

The last date for creating New login for online registration is December 22, 2018, by 11 am.

The last date of filling the online application form and/or making payment through Debit Card/Internet Banking is December 22, 2018, by 11 am.

The fees for the examination is Rs 1,000 for the general category candidates and Rs 200 for SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities. This can be paid through debit card or internet banking. The candidates can take the printout of application form and keep it for future reference.
