Indian Railways has started a new Rajdhani connecting Delhi to Mumbai. The new Rajdhani Express, Train Number 22221/22 will connect Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Hazarat Nizamuddin of Delhi. This is the first Rajdhani Express train owned by Central Railway and the third Rajdhani Express for Mumbai. It will reduce the journey time by 5 hours as compared to other Mail/Express trains running on this route. This will be the fastest train for the passengers of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh to Delhi/Mumbai via Itarsi route.

Route and Time:
The train number 22221 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai on every Wednesday and Saturday at 14.50 hrs with effect from 19.1.2019 and arrive Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10.20 hrs next day. In reverse direction, the train number 22222 will leave
Hazrat Nizamuddin on every Thursday and Sunday at 16.15 hrs with effect from 20.1.2019 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 11.55 hrs next day. The train will stop at Kalyan, Nasik Road, Jalgaon, Bhopal, Jhansi and Agra Cantt stations. It has one First AC, three AC 2-Tier, eight AC 3-Tier and a pantry car.

Fare:
The fare for the AC First Class is Rs 5,025, for AC 2 Tier is Rs 2,990 and for AC 3 Tier is Rs 2,160.
