The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) division of the Ministry of Education is organising a dance competition for school children. The competition, strictly for students from Classes 6 to 12, provides an opportunity to enchant viewers around the world about dance movements, expressions and rhythms.

The entries for IKS Traditional Dance Competition will close on August 31. 

IKS Traditional Dance Competition: 

1) The length of the video should strictly be between 2-5 minutes, including the beginning and end credits.

2) The video can be in either colour or monochrome in time-lapse/normal mode.

3) The video has to be shot in HD format within the ratio 16:9 in Horizontal format.

4) The video should begin with an introduction which includes name, age, class and school. 

Video should have information about the traditional dance form, its history, what is so special about it and who taught it to the participant. The credits section at the end should include the names of the teacher and production assistants.

5) The accompanying text should explain in greater detail what the participant has said in the video.
