Cyclone Fani: Air India has decided to launch flight services between Delhi and Bhubaneswar from Saturday evening in order to provide some relief to the passengers stranded in Odisha. Two flights have been announced between Delhi and Bhubaneswar for providing immediate relief. To travel in these flights, passengers must take the Vaidya Tickets of Air India. Air India will fly three flights from Delhi to Bhubaneswar at 3.00 noon. While the flight services from Bhubaneswar to Delhi will be running at 5.45 pm. Sale of these flight tickets has already been started. According to Air India spokesman Dhananjay Kumar, special services have been started by Air India between Bhubaneswar and Delhi. These aircraft have been rented for nominal rents and the tickets for travelling the same can be booked at the airport or online.

Cyclone Fani has devastated many districts of Odisha. The reports of massive damage are also coming. To provide help to people stuck in Odisha, the national airlines- Air India has appealed to the people of the country to come forward and help people of Odisha. Along with this, the airline has also said it will be transporting the needful items for the people of Odisha for free.

All NGOs/Civil Society/SHGs have been asked by the public airline to send their relief material to Air India if they want to send across items to Odisha. No fees will be charged from the institutions for sending these items. Also, an appeal has also been made to all the organizations by Air India, to submit relief material to the Resident Commissioner's Office located at Orissa Bhawan in Delhi. The national carrier will deliver the material from there. 

Indian Railways has also decided not to charge any kind of fee for sending relief material from any part of the country to the affected coastal states like Orissa, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh through railways. The railways have also instructed all the Divisional Rail Managers to provide additional parcel vans in trains to send relief material.
