The CBSE has extended the last dates for online application for Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) July session exam from March 5th to March 12th. The candidates can now pay the fees till 3.30pm on March 15th, 2019. However earlier the last date was 5th March 2019.

The application process for the exam started on February 5th, 2019. However, the exam will take place on July 7th, 2019. 

The CBSE will be conducting the test in 20 languages in 97 cities all over India. The interested and eligible candidates can apply online only through the official CTET i.e website www.ctet.nic.in.

Here is a step by step guide to applying online, for the CTET 2019 exam:-

Step 1: The first step is to visit the CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Now go to the link that reads “Apply Online”.

Step 3: After that fill in the online application form and note down Registration No./Application No.

Step 4: Now upload scanned images of your latest photograph and your signature.

Step 5: You need to pay examination fee by e-challan or debit/credit card- Last date of fee submission- March 8, 2019.

CBSE CTET July 2019- Fee Details:

1. For General/OBC: In case of either paper 1 or 2, Rs 700 will be required to pay, while for both paper 1 and 2, its Rs 1,200. 

2. For SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person: In the case of either Paper 1, its Rs. 350 to be paid, while for both paper 1 and 2, its Rs 600. 

Also, It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card downloaded from the website to the venue of the exam.

However, the CTET exam is just a qualifying exam and passing it will not confer the candidates any right over the employment as per CBSE norms.
