CSIR-NEIST Recruitment 2019: CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology (NEIST), Jorhat has invited applications from interested candidates for the recruitment of Project Fellow post. Interested and eligible candidates can appear for walk-in-interview along with the requisite certificates on April 30, 2019. According to the CSIR-NEIST notification, the engagement will be on a purely temporary basis for a specific period. It is co-terminus along with the duration of the project and will not confer any right for regularization in the institute. The JRF/ Project Fellow may be allowed to do his/her PhD work based on CSIR guidelines.

Walk-In-Interview: Interested candidates should appear on April 30, 2019 at Conference Room, 1st Floor Administrative Bldg, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam. Notably, no TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for the interview. 

Interested candidates are requested to bring with them all original documents including marksheets and Certificates and also a photograph to appear for the interview, failing which there candidature may not be considered. The selected candidates are expected to join immediately upon selection.  

During selection, due weight-age will be given to the academic performance of the candidates.  

CSIR-NEIST Vacancy details: There are three vacant positions for Project Fellow. 

Educational Qualification: Candidate should hold MSc Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University. They are also required to have knowledge of computer for day to day work. 

Age Limit: Candidate should not exceed 30 years of age which would be taken into consideration as on date of interview. The age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates would be applied as per Govt of India orders.
