A special court in New Delhi has ordered framing of charges against industrialist Naveen Jindal, ex-minister of state for coal Dasari Narayan Rao, former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda, ex-coal secretary HC Gupta, and others in Amarkonda Murgadangal coal block allocation case, news agency PTI reported.

The court has asked chargest to be framed under section 120b, 409, prevention of corruption act 13c and 13d. Suresh Singhal, Director, New Delhi Exim Pvt Ltd, one of the accused in the scam has moved his application in the court to turn approver and seek police protection. The court has recorded his statement 

Next hearing for the case has been set to May 11, 2016. Meanwhile, Naveen Jindal has sought court's permission to go to Austria for his nephew's wedding on May 6. 

Parth Jindal, son of Sajjan Jindal, Managing Director, JSW Steel and brother of Naveen Jindal is getting married next week. 

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had filed the chargesheet against 15 accused (including above mentioned) on April 29, 2015. The chargesheet was filed against 10 persons and five companies. 

CBI allege that these companies provided wrong documents for coal block allocation.
