Petrol Price in Chhattisgarh Today 2021: In an important development, the Chhattisgarh government has announced the reduction of VAT for petrol and diesel prices. The state government has reduced VAT on petrol by 1%, diesel by 2% today.

A subsequent tweet said, "Important decisions taken by the Chief Minister Shri @bhupeshbaghel in the cabinet giving great relief to the people of #छत्तीसगढ़ -VAT in petrol reduced by 1%. State Government will bear approximately Rs. 1000 crore loss."

 

As per the Indian Oil website, the price of petrol in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh is Rs 101.88 per litre, at present. The price of diesel is Rs 93.78 per litre.

While reducing the excise duties earlier this month, the central government said in a statement, "Government of India has taken a significant decision of reducing Central Excise Duty on Petrol and Diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10, respectively, from tomorrow. Prices of petrol and diesel will thus come down accordingly. The reduction in excise duty on diesel will be double to that of petrol."

After the announcement from the central government, the fuel prices have remained stable for more than two weeks in the metro cities.

On Monday, the prices of petrol and diesel in the national capital is Rs 103.97 per litre and Rs 86.67 per litre, respectively.

In Mumbai, petrol is priced at Rs 109.98 per litre and diesel at Rs 94.14 per litre.

According to the official website of fuel retailer Indian Oil, prices of petrol and diesel are as follows:

1) Delhi: Petrol - Rs 103.97 per litre, Diesel: Rs 86.67 per litre

2) Mumbai: Petrol - Rs 109.98 per litre, Diesel: Rs 94.14 per litre

3) Kolkata: Petrol - Rs 104.67 per litre, Diesel: Rs 89.79 per litre

4) Chennai: Petrol - Rs 101.40 per litre, Diesel: Rs 91.43 per litre
