Chhattisgarh Assembly election results 2023: Voting for as many as 70 constituencies—or Assembly seats—took place in Chhattisgarh on Friday, November 17, 2023, as the state entered the second phase of polls. The first phase of polling was conducted on November 7 wherein voters cast their ballots for 20 constituencies in the state.  As many as 958 candidates are in the fray for the 70 seats, including Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his deputy TS Singh Deo.

Out of the 70 Assembly seats, being contested in the second phase, 17 are served for the Scheduled Tribe category and nine for the Scheduled Cast category.

Voting for all of the 70 seats was conducted between 8 am and 5 pm, except for nine booths in the Naxalites-affected Bindranawagarh seat in the Gariaband district where it was held from 7 am till 3 pm.

By 5 pm, a total voter turnout of 68.2 per cent was recorded for the 70 seats, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI).
