Chhattisgarh CGPSC state service exam 2018: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has released the state service examination notification on its official website psc.cg.gov.in. The state service examination Prelims is scheduled to be held on February 17, 2019, while the mains examinations will be held in June, 2019. The applicants will be able to do online registration on the official website from December 7, 2018, to January 1, 2019.

The selection of the candidates by the  CGPSC will be done on the basis of Prelims and Mains exams and an interview. The candidates who will qualify from the Mains exam will be called for the interview. There will be objective type multiple choice questions in the exams and  there is negative marking for each incorrect answer. 

CGPSC will fill up 160 posts through the recruitment exam.

Educational qualification and eligibility: 
The candidates must have a graduation from any recognised university or institute.

Age limit: 
The applicants should be between the age of 21 years and 30 years. For age relaxation for the reserved category will be as per the government rule. For details, the applicants should visit the official website.

Application fees: 
For the general category candidates fee is Rs 400, while for reserved category it is Rs 300.

The state services applications will be accepted through online mode only and applications sent through mannual or post will not be accepted, said the notification.
