CTET exams 2019: Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2019 examination will be organised on July 7 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The admit card for the test has already been released on June 23, 2019. The objective OMR-based test will be conducted for two papers and both the papers will be of two hours duration. The CTET Paper 1 is for primary teachers while CTET paper 2 is for Upper Primary teachers. An official statement from the CBSE said that 8,17,892 candidates have registered to take CTET paper 1 exams, 4,27,897 candidates will appear for paper II, while 8,38,381 will appear for both the papers. 1. Candidates should download their CTET admit card and check the information given on their admit card, If they find any detail, including particulars of candidate, photograph and signature or any other information, does not match with the confirmation page, they should immediately contact CTET Unit for corrections.

2. Candidates should notice that they will not be allowed to enter examination centre for the CTET July 2019 exam if they do not carry their admit card.

3. Candidates should report at the Examination Centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination for the Paper-I, as they will not be allowed to appear for the test after 9.30 am, while those reaching after 2:00 pm will not be able sit in the Paper-II.

4. Candidates should not bring any of the items like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/scanner, Cardboard etc. at the examination centre as it would lead to disqualification.

5. They should also avoid any communication devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health band etc; or any Watch/Wrist watch, Camera, wallet, goggles, handbags etc; or any other item which can be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices/gadgets like Camera, Bluetooth device etc.

Notably, the number of applicants for CTET July 2019 has decreased in comparison to the number of candidates who registered for the CTET December 2018 examination.
