Finally, the long wait has come to an end as CBSE class 12 examination results have been announced. But, this year CBSE will not announce merit list for class 12 examination. You can check the results on the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education i.e. cbse.nic.in

Announcing the results, CBSE said that it has recorded increase of 5.38 pc in pass percentage in class 12 exams. Also, girls outshone boys in CBSE class 12 examination as they recorded 5.96 pc higher pass percentage than boys.

Moreover, CBSE class 12 results of 400 students could not be computed as per decided assessment scheme; to be announced later, CBSE confirmed. As far as the pass percentage is concerned, Trivandrum region recorded highest pass percentage at 97.67 while Patna region records lowest pass percentage at 74.57. 

Earlier, on June 23, the CBSE had informed the Supreme Court that it has decided to cancel the pending Board examination for Classes 10 and 12 scheduled between July 1-15. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, informed the apex court that a scheme has been set up where Class 12 students will be assessed on the basis of last 3 exams, and the students will also have an option to opt for an exam to be conducted later. 

On July 10, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE)  had declared the most-awaited results for ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII.  The results are now available on the website cisce.org. It can also be checked via SMS, for which the students need to send their seven digit roll numbers to 09248082883. The pass percentage for Class X is 99.33 per cent, while for Class XII, it is 96.84 per cent, the council said.
