CBSE 12th result 2018 date: The last week of May is likely to be very crucial for students of class 12 as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will most probably declare their results on May 28. The students can check their result on the board's official website cbse.nic.in. The CBSE conducted the Central Board of Secondary Education Class 12 examinations 2018 from March 5 to April 13, 2018. Over 28 lakh students had appeared for the examinations conducted by the CBSE, and of these, a total of 11,86,306 candidates registered for class XII examination.
 
It may be noted that those students who fail in maximum two subjects can appear for the compartment examinations, which will be conducted between July and August. Students have to clear the test in the subjects to be declared 'Passed', otherwise, they have to re-repeat Class 12 for examination. For further details, students must visit the official websites.
 
For students to check their CBSE 12th result 2018 in a smooth way, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has facilitated them to follow the steps given below. 
 
1. Students should visit cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in
2. They should click on Class 12/Class 10 Exam Results link
3. Students can then enter roll number and date of birth
4. Check your CBSE 12th result 2018, take a printout and keep it safe for future reference
 
Students have also been facilitated to access their results via SMS paying 50 paise per SMS.
 
During their examination, the class 12 students had to face disappointment due to reports of paper leak. In Delhi, agitated students staged protests accusing the CBSE of negligence and sought immediate action against the culprits. Later, Investigators had arrested several persons from different states, including Jharkhand and Himachal Pradesh.
The CBSE has vowed to further tighten the system to avoid such incidents by rolling out a new system from the next session.
