Budget 2022: Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2022-23 on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed the budget as 'progressive' and 'people-friendly'.

While expressing his happiness on the budget, PM Modi said, 'I congratulate Finance Minister Nirmala ji and her entire team for this People Friendly and Progressive Budget'.

"This budget has brought new confidence of development, in the midst of a terrible disaster of 100 years. This budget, along with strengthening the economy, will create many new opportunities for the common man," the PM added.
