Budget 2020: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman may announce a special domestic tourism programme on February 1 while presenting the Union Budget (#BUDGET2020ZEE). According to the recent announcement being made by the Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel in Bhuvneshwar, the Modi 2.0 Government is mulling to promote Incredible India Programme by announcing a special programme where a domestic tourist will have the probability to get his future domestic torus financed by the Ministry of Tourism. In this programme, a domestic tourist traveller will have to tour 15 cities by 2022 and then promote them on social media platforms.

As announced by Prahlan Singh Patel in Bhuvneshwar, if domestic tourist travels 15 cities by the end of 2022 and promotes those 15 cities at various social media platforms, he or she can become Travel Ambassador of India and his future domestic tours will be financed by the Ministry of Tourism. However, to become eligible for the selection of Travel Ambassador there are some rules that a domestic traveller will have to follow.

To become a part of this Ministry of Tourism programme, one needs to go at the Ministry of Tourism page and take a domestic tourist pledge. After that, he or she will have to travel to 15 cities by the end of 2022. By the end of 2022, the Ministry of Tourism will decide about the Travel Ambassador. It should be noted that only those people will be eligible for Travel Ambassador selection who have taken domestic tourist pledge. Prahlad Singh Patel had gave a hint about Modi government's plan with regards to the Incredible India programme and a final decision in this regard is expected by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman when she presents the Union Budget on February 1.
