FM Nirmala Sitharaman said that new coins of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20, that are easily identifiable to the visually impaired, will also be released to the public. Sitharaman said, "These coins will be made available for public use shortly. In the month of March this year, the government revamped already available coins like Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5 and Rs 10, while also making a new addition in the form of Rs 20."

OBVERSE: The face of the coin shall bear the Lion Capitol of Ashoka Pillar with the legend 'Satyamev Jayate' in Hindi inscribed below, flanked on the left periphery with the word 'Bharat' in Hindi and on the right periphery with the word “INDIA” in English.
