The healthcare sector of India have hailed the budgetary proposals citing it would help make a stress-free India and creating a space that encourages preventive healthcare over curative. The industry insiders said the move will create a distress-free, functional and comprehensive healthcare and wellness system in the nation.

Speaking on the budget 2019 Dr Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman & Managing Director, Aster DM Healthcare told Zee Business online in a written statement, "One interesting highlight in the Interim Budget is the vision for ‘Healthy India’ by building a distress-free, functional and comprehensive healthcare and wellness system by 2030. With the launch of Ayushman Bharat, wherein  Rs 3000 crores have been allocated, I believe we are moving in the right direction."
