BSNL has claimed this offer to be the 'most economic broadband plan.' BSNL said that this plan is already live for the users and is valid for 30 days at 20Mbps speed. The telco is offering a high-speed connection along with unlimited free calling to any network.

Those who wish to take this new plan can visit the BSNL portals in the respective states and raise a new connection request. This broadband plan of BSNL has come just after Reliance Jio has announced its new services of  Jio GigaFiber and Jio GigaTV in its Annual General Meeting, last week.

Under Jio's new service, the telco would initially provide 1Gbps speed to 1,100 cities. The registration for the service would start on August 15th on My Jio app and Jio official website.

BSNL has also extended the validity of its entry-level broadband plan- BB249 again. The plan, if regularised will not have an expiry date. BSNL had earlier the BB249 broadband plan on a promotional basis until June 30, 2018, but the plan doesn’t have any 90-day expiry period, now.

The plan is offered by the telco across the country. Benefits such as 8 Mbps download speed, unlimited free calls on BSNL network within India and unlimited voice calls to any network between 10:30 PM to 6 AM are offered by BSNL.
