Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has increased the daily benefit of prepaid combo plans and 3G Data STVs by 2GB. Users will now get an additional 2GB data above its existing plan. Under this plan, the state-run telecom operator's combo plans of Rs 999, Rs 666, Rs 485, Rs 429 and Rs 186 will offer 2GB daily data. Also, the above benefits will be applicable on the 3G Data STV plans of Rs 448, Rs 444, Rs 333, Rs 349 and Rs 187, said a telecomtalks.info report.
 
BSNL has confirmed that this offer will be available for customers from June 18, 2018. Rs 186, 429, Rs 485, Rs 666 and Rs 999 offer unlimited voice calls without any daily or weekly FUP limit. And the Rs 186 and Rs 999 even comes with truly unlimited data as BSNL provides an after FUP speed of 40 Kbps, in-line with Jio and Airtel, TelecomTalk report said.
 
According to the new tariff plan, Rs 186 prepaid tariff plan now gives 3GB data, in-line with what Jio is offering with the Rs 149 plan. The offer is valid for 28 days from the date of recharge of the same. The Rs 492 plan, which offers 3GB data per day, is valid for 81 days from the day of recharge. BSNL's Rs 666, which is applicable from June 18, will provide with 3.5GB data benefit per day for 120 days, and Rs 999 plan that offers 3GB data per day will be valid for 180 days.
 
For the unlimited STVs, Rs 333 plan under this scheme will offer 5GB data per day and Rs 444 plan offers 6GB data per day.
 
According to the report, BSNL has made this change on a promotional basis of 60 days. After 60 days from June 18, 2018, the tariff revision will expire. Reliance Jio also introduced a temporary additional data offer on its entire prepaid tariff portfolio very recently.

The report also stated that Jio is now providing additional 1.5GB daily data on every prepaid plan until June 30, 2018. While BSNL is giving 2GB data per data at Rs 186, Jio is giving 3GB data per day at Rs 149. However, BSNL’s new plans are valid for 60 days whereas Jio’s additional data offer will expire on June 30.
 
The new revised prepaid unlimited plans are already effective across the country from June 18, 2018. BSNL users can recharge it from BSNL website or application or any other recharge portal. The benefits of these plans differ in Kerala circle, said the report.
