The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will begin the registration process for Assistant Engineer posts in various departments of Government of Bihar from today (March 19). The online application link will be available after 11 am.  The last date for the online application submission for the BPSC Assistant Engineer posts is April 10, 2019. The applicants may apply in the prescribed format before the last date. The last date for hard copy of the application and required documents submission is April 22, 2019. The applicants will be able to send their application via speed post/registered posts.

Civil Engineers: 114 posts
Electrical engineers: 33 posts

Age limit:
The candidates should be between 21 years and 37 years of age. The maximum age limit for the female candidates is 40 years.

Selection process: 
The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test.

Syllabus:
The exam consists of 4 papers out of which 4 papers will be compulsory and 2 will be optional. Hindi, English, general studies, and general Engineering are compulsory papers. There will be optional papers for Civil and Mechanical engineering. The questions will be of objective types.
