Kesari Box Office Collection: Akshay Kumar starrer is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office as the film is heading towards completion of its second week. The war-drama, which has collected about Rs 125 crore so far, is likely to emerge as Akshay Kumar's highest grossing film after 2.0 (Hindi version), according to film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Kesari has also earned the distinction of becoming the fastest film to enter Rs 100 crore club in 2019, followed by other Bollywood movies like Gully Boy and Total Dhamaal.

Based on the Battle of Saragarhi fought in 1897, Kesari's story revolves around 21 soldiers of the 36th Sikh Regiment of the British Indian Army, who under the leadership Havildar Ishar Singh (Akshay Kumar), fought against 10,000 Afghan troops.

Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari's starcast includes Parineeti Chopra, Vansh Bhardwaj, Mir Sarwar, Jaspreet Singh, Vikram Kochhar and Vivek Saini as supporting characters, along with chief protagonist Akshay Kumar. Anurag Singh is known to have directed Punjabi hits-Jatt and Juliet Series and Yaar Annmulle. 

In north circuits, the film is stated to be doing well, especially in Delhi and Punjab, and it is still stable in other circuits, said Taran Adarsh in his tweet as "#Kesari is strong on [second] Mon... North circuits continue to lead, while other circuits are steady... Should collect ₹ 137 cr [+/-] by [second] Thu... [Week 2] Fri 4.45 cr, Sat 6.45 cr, Sun 8.25 cr, Mon 3.27 cr. Total: ₹ 128.28 cr. Kesari, which has earned over Rs 125 crore in its India business so far, is doing excellent trade from Day 1, and is expected to earn over Rs 150 crore if the current trend continues, said Taran Adarsh, tweeting ÿesterday as "#Kesari biz at a glance...

Notably, the Akshay Kumar starrer film crossed Rs 50 crore mark on Day 3, Rs 75 crore mark on Day 4, and entered the Rs 100 crore club on the Day 7.
