Bihar Police Recruitment 2019: Bihar Police has asked for the applications for recruitment to the post of Sub Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Superintendent Jail. There are total 2,246 vacancies have been notified for Sub Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Superintendent Jail out of which 2064 vacancies are for Police Sub Inspector, 215 vacancies are for Sergeant, 125 are for Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct Recruitment) and 42 vacancies are for Ex-Serviceman candidates for Assistant Superintendent Jail Post.

The candidates willing to apply on these posts should be between the age group of 20 to 37 years and there will be age relaxation will be provided to those belonging to the reserved category. Eligibility Criteria for SI, Sergeant and ASJ Posts: 

The educational qualification required as per the official notification is  10th/SSC/Matriculation/Graduation/Post Graduation in the concerned subject.

Application Fee for Bihar Police Recruitment 2019:

1. General – Rs 700
2. EWS/BC/EBC – Rs 700
3. SC/ST/PH candidates – Rs 400

Age Limit for Bihar Police Recruitment 2019: 

20 to 37 years (Age relaxation will be provided to the reserved category candidates). 

The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test which will be held in two parts – Preliminary and Mains. Those who will qualify for the preliminary exam will be called for the main exam.

The interested candidates can apply to the posts through online mode. The candidates will be able to apply online till 25 September 2019. All the candidates are advised to take a printout of the finally submitted online application for future reference.
